You may remember earlier in the year when we brought you news about our Horticulture Projects that involved growing our produce. Today we enjoyed the first results of this, and served homegrown vegetables, including tomatoes and chili, in our training café, Chesbucks. Our training café is popular amongst patients and staff alike and is one of the many vocational opportunities offered by our Occupational Therapy team, where patients work alongside staff learning key skills around food and beverage service that they can take with them when they move on from Cheswold Park Hospital. Occupational Therapy and Vocational opportunities are highly valued by our patients as it contributes positively to a structured day and the chance to progress in their treatment.
