Our Service & Availability

Cheswold Park is a medium and low-secure forensic mental health hospital with a 112-bed capacity which is mixed across nine wards and services that accommodate treatment pathways for Personality Disorder(PD), Mental Illness(MI) and specialist service to accommodate People with Autism who are also sectioned under the mental health act for conditions related to mental illness.

Cheswold Park can take admissions for adult Males and Women Sectioned under the mental health act who need a low or medium-secure setting.

We work closely with representatives of Provider Collaboratives, Strategic Case Managers, Social Workers, CCGs (Clinical Commissioning Groups), ICB (Integrated Care Boards) and Care coordinators. Through these relationships, we provide a best-in-class process for taking admissions from our local area and helping people find placements (beds) for patients who need the specific treatment pathways we cover who may be out of area.
