Due to our training and assessors hard work with BICS, driving us forward with the continuous help from the housekeeping department, the ward staff and especially the patients, the FBICSc Technical Manager from BICS emphasised our commitment to BICS and encouraged us to enter the BICS National Awards. We entered in the category of excellence in training and Assessing in which we have been nominated for the award, Judges from BICS are visiting Cheswold Park On 22nd July, fingers crossed we get through to the finals.
Patient involvement in BICS is important to us as it benefits patients in their rehabilitation in rebuilding their social skills. We currently have 28 BICS Patient Ward Champions who assist in cleaning their ward and are awarded vouchers for their hardwork each month.
