Support Worker (New ASC Service)

The Wentbridge Centre and Neville Lodge is an exciting new service forming part of Cheswold Park Hospital and due to this expansion we are now looking for talented Support Workers to assist in helping us mould this new pathway of Low Secure and community living settings for patients with Autism.

You will be an experienced Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant who has experience with patients with Autism or Learning Disabilities and have a real passion for delivering exceptional care. Our focus is on transforming the lives of those in our service through the delivery of ground breaking treatment. We have an experienced leadership, MDT and staff development team that will assist in the personal growth of our Support Workers and assist in your long term progression with us.

Key responsibilities of our Support Workers;

  • Working with our Nursing and Multi-disciplinary team to deliver a quality service to patients

  • Report relevant observations of a patient’s condition, verbally, written or electronically based

  • Assisting with the provision of recreational and/or therapeutic activities on an individual or group basis

  • Promoting patient independence on activities of living and personal choices as far as possible

  • Attend training to further enhance your skills and improve patient care

  • Enhance the lives of our patients on a daily basis
