Registered Nurse (Rotational)

Cheswold Park Hospital is a secure hospital in Doncaster that looks after patients with Mental Illness, Personality Disorders and Autism across eight different wards. We can offer our Registered Nurses rotational experience across multiple settings, whilst having the support of a large MDT and a mentor all located on-site.


The rotational post can be as long or short as the individual requires as there may be a specific passion that is unlocked during the rotation.


Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse


To work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other professional and legislative guidelines as a named nurse for a number of patients, taking responsibility for:

  • Protecting, supporting and improving the health of individual patients

  • Assessment of holistic care needs for patients.

  • Development, implementation and evaluation of care and treatment in collaboration with the individual patient.

  • Undertake active participation in effective discharge planning

  • Attend and take part in Ward Rounds, CPA, MHRT as required


Requirements of a Registered Nurse


You will be a qualified registered or due to be a Registered Nurse with a passion for developing your skills in an ever-changing environment. Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the patient you will have a desire to improve the lives of those around you and take a real satisfaction in making a difference.
